Angela Johnson’s fascinating journey in life is reflected in her magnificent work as a sculptor. The emotion, compositional flow, dramatic design and exquisite detail have become her signature elements.
For the past sixteen years since she began to sculpt, she has received extensive acknowledgement for her masterful work as a sculptor. Angela’s work has been on exhibit at the Newport Beach Temple Open House, where over 175,000 people saw her sculpture, “Come Unto Me”. The Light of the World Exhibit traveled different Visitors’ Centers in the United States for 5 years.
The LDS Church Museum recognized Angela’s outstanding work awarding her the prestigious Merit Award for her life-size depiction of Jesus Christ titled, “Come Unto Me”.

October 15, 2011 The Light of the World Exhibit was installed at Thanksgiving Point Gardens in Lehi, Utah. The work of enlarging 15 sculptural depictions to monumental size is her current work and focus.
In 2013 she developed the Son of God Etched Glass Images series. The collection has 20 images of her sculptures of Jesus Christ etched in glass. It is her desire to give people a way to have stories and images of Jesus close to them and their loved ones.
When once asked by a newspaper editor if she looks at her hands and is amazed at what she has been able to accomplish she replied, “It is more amazing to me what Jesus Christ can do with a soul.”
